After: August, 2012, 160 pounds, 5’11
I lost 30 pounds in 8 months from just exercising (strength training and cardio) 5-6 days a week, working at a restaurant (i was a hostess/server which means i was on my feet for at least 5 hours a shift), and eating clean (most of the time…if I really wanted something bad, like the ever delicious burger that my work sells, I’d let myself have it haha). I’m a firm believer that moderation is key and that hard work, dedication and patience are what keeps me striving to getting my best body. I know I have a ways to go and I’ve had a few setbacks here and there, but i’m never going to give up, even after I reach my goals. Most importantly, this picture shows that I am stronger than my binge eating disorder, and that I can move on from who I used to be and leave behind my old weaknesses and insecurities. And tumblr, if I can do this, so can all of you.
