It’s hard to believe that it’s been two years since I started my journey to become healthy, get fit, and lose weight. In that time I’ve faced injuries, overcome challenges, taken a few steps back, but always taken more steps forward. Mine wasn’t a journey just about dropping pounds- mine was a journey of completely changing my lifestyle to be healthy, fitness-filled, nutritionally aware, and most importantly, it was a journey of learning to be happy with who I am.
Today I am what I hoped to be when I started - fit, strong, happy with myself and with the life around me. More than that, though, today I am what I never thought I’d be - a runner, a yogi, a chef and (most crazy of all) an inspiration. I hope my journey can motivate you, my recipes can help you along, my workouts can give you the tools you need and my story can show you that no matter what challenges you face you can be successful because just in trying, just in making progress, you are already a success.
