My name is Joe. Just over a year ago I was weighing 245lbs. I had anxiety issues, self confidence problems, and a slight case of sleep apnea. It wasn’t until a complete stranger told me they worried for my health that I decided a change was necessary. I jumped into action by exercising and eating right. It was so hard cutting out snacks, getting up off the couch to go outside for a walk. I had little to no stamina, my endurance was horrible, and motivation was hard in the beginning. But I stuck with it gradually getting more and more fit. Once my first weigh in showed results I knew the hard part was over. Over the last year I have dropped a total of 70lbs. The top left picture is me at my max in November 2012 at 245lbs, the top right is me in September 2013 at 187lbs, the bottom left is me at 175lbs which is my current weight. I have since started lifting more weights and doing more toning exercises. I hope to eventually be a lean and mean machine. That’s why I joined Tumblr to motivate, inspire, and continue my journey to a happier, healthier, me!
